In our lab, we are interested in the genetics, genomics, and evolution of species relevant to conservation biology and environmental sciences. We work in molecular ecology regarding questions of population boundaries, gene flow, genetic diversity, adaptation, and phylogenetic relationships and their association with biogeography.

We also really enjoy working on optimizing genomic protocols because we are advocates for taking advantage of cutting-edge technologies and the democratization of technology and science.
