Hello! I am David Budnik (he/him/his) and I am a rising junior at Emory University. My intended major here at Emory is neuroscience with a possible minor in computer science on the pre-med track. Some things I like to do outside of academics is hiking, surfing, playing volleyball, traveling and playing video games! One interesting fact about me is that I lived in Japan and Oman for a combined total of 9 years! I am very keen in learning more about biology and that is why I joined Dr. Bayona on her research, particularly on the Joro-spider and their status as invasive species in the state of Georgia.
